 1964 Business Coupe
95 hp 3 speed stick
this is a 'rescue' car.  runs great!
Using Masonite, John drilled holes and used Epoxy to glue the nails in place.  Cut a flat panel of vinyl, stitch on the stripe and sew a binding all around.  Headliner glue holds the panel in place and hot glue is used to fix the binding to the back side. This leaves the front side looking smooth.
Pretty good for a back yard find.   This car was found in Slater IA.
It had been 'fixed up" probably in the 80s,
with reupholstered seats that are still in good condition.
95 hp 3 speed, this car is a blast to drive.   We've repainted the interior,
the body work & paint were finished in Feb 2012.   It's definitely
a driver quality car, not a show car.  Few business coupes survived
because they were cheap, throwaway cars.

John named it "The Turtle" because without the bumper,
the front looked like an albino turtle.   The name will stick with us,
but this car has lost the 'homely orphan' look.
No more work boots in this car!
