Miss Daisy gets her makeover, 2012
Some years back, the car went through a hail storm, the stones must have been huge, Only a few dents, there were dimples on the hood and deck lid. Fall of 2012, nice lids were installed, some rusty metal under the rocker chrome was welded in and a beautiful, fresh paint job was the icing on the cake! No bondo bucket, expert welder Jim Rodamaker gave Daisy the royal treatment, we took photos along the way to document the work. We were lucky last summer to score some very gently used rocker chrome and some pieces that were NOS. The car looks GREAT with all the good looking chrome, installed so nicely by John. Spring of 2013 this great little car will get a new home. The clutch and leaks were repaired last summer, the 140hp late model engine runs great, and the interior isn't new, but is in very good condition. We believe the interior and top were installed in the early 1990s.I've really enjoyed this convertible, but after finding my red one, I just can't justify keeping 2.
